This policy explains what information HappyCXO Studio collects through www.happycxo.com, why we collect it, who helps us process it, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do with it. We have tried to write it in plain language. If anything is unclear, email us at tradeexpertw@gmail.com.
1. Who we are
HappyCXO Studio is operated by 晶典室內設計有限公司, a company registered in Taiwan. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at tradeexpertw@gmail.com.
2. Information you give us
When you book a demo on our contact page, we ask for:
- Required: your name, work email, company, country, industry, company size and the areas you need help with.
- Optional: your company website, a line about your current team, and a good time for a call.
We also record which page or section the request came from, the site language you used and the time you sent it. Other forms on the site (such as the website audit request) collect similar details plus any message you write. If you email us directly, we receive whatever you include in your email.
You don't have to give us any of this, but without the required fields we can't arrange or prepare for your call. Please don't send sensitive information (such as health or financial account details) through our forms.
3. Information collected automatically
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use the site: pages visited, how you arrived (for example from a search engine), device and browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address. When a form is sent successfully, we record a "lead" event with the form name, the page section, the service areas you ticked and the site language. We do not send your name, email or company to Google Analytics.
- Hosting and security logs. Like any website, our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address, browser, the pages you request and the time of the request, so it can deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
4. How we use your information, and our reasons
- To answer your request and arrange, prepare for and follow up on your demo or inquiry. We do this because you asked us to, and as a step before any agreement with you.
- To run, secure and improve the website, including analytics. We do this because we have a legitimate interest in a site that works and that we can improve. Where the law where you live requires your consent for analytics cookies, you can refuse or withdraw it as described in section 7.
- To meet legal obligations, for example keeping records we are required to keep if you become a client.
We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for advertising, and we will not add you to a newsletter unless you ask us to.
5. Service providers we use
We use the following companies to run the site and handle your request. They process information on our behalf, for the purposes above.
- Sanity (content management): stores form submissions in a private dataset that requires an access key, and serves the site's images.
- Resend (email delivery): sends us an email notification containing your form details so we can reply.
- Google: Google Analytics (website analytics) and Gmail, the mailbox where we receive form notifications and email sent to tradeexpertw@gmail.com.
- Cloudflare (hosting): runs the website, caches pages and keeps short-term request logs.
- Vercel (backup hosting): may serve the site if we switch hosting back temporarily.
Our website fonts are hosted with the site itself, so loading a page does not send your data to a font provider. These providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards they offer for international transfers.
6. How long we keep it
- Form submissions and related emails: up to 24 months after our last contact with you, then deleted. If you become a client, we keep what we need for the engagement and for legal and accounting requirements.
- Google Analytics data: kept according to the retention setting in our Google Analytics account, which is no longer than 14 months for user-level data.
- Hosting logs: kept for the short period set by our hosting provider.
You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see section 8).
7. Cookies and analytics
Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID) to tell visits apart. They can last up to two years. This site does not load advertising or remarketing tags.
To opt out of analytics, you can:
- block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or
- install Google's Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Blocking analytics does not affect your ability to use the site or send a form. Our content editors sign in to a separate, non-public area of the site, which uses its own login cookies; visitors never see it.
8. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete your information;
- stop using it, or limit how we use it;
- withdraw any consent you gave us.
Email tradeexpertw@gmail.com from the address you used, or tell us how we can confirm it's you. We aim to respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example under Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act or a US state privacy law), you may have additional rights, and you may complain to your local data protection authority. We won't treat you differently for using any of these rights.
9. Security
We limit access to form submissions to the people who need it to respond, and our service providers protect data in transit with encryption. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
Our services are for businesses. This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the effective date below. Significant changes will be noted at the top of the page.
